Sweet and Savory

On April 17th, we are back at 701 Whaley for our beloved annual fundraiser, Sweet and Savory! Doors open at 5:30pm to delicious dishes from local chefs, an open bar, silent auction items from across the Midlands and beyond…

Best part? All proceeds benefit the mission of Palmetto Place, to provide a safe and supportive environment for children/youth experiencing abuse, abandonment, neglect and/or homelessness!

Hero Hustle 5K: Race for Palmetto Place

Sport your Superhero themed gear while joining us for our inaugural Hero Hustle 5K: Race for Palmetto Place and 1-mile Kids’s Fun Run! Event sponsored by Gibson & Associates and B106.7.

  • Individual Registration: $25 registration fee for adults (t-shirt, water, and snacks included) until August 25th ($30 thereafter).

    • Kids run for free with a $10 t-shirt option

    • Virtual option available - register, pick up your t-shirt, run in your own neighborhood, and tag us in your photos along with using #HeroHustle2K20 to show your support!

    • Staggered start times beginning at 9am due to COVID19

  • Team Registration: Teams of 2 or more can register with a $5 discount. Teams are encouraged to raise funds for Palmetto Place - a trophy will be presented to the team who raises the most dollars! Once you register as a team, you’ll receive an email detailing how to start fundraising!

  • We’ll have a DJ, two water stations on the certified course at Timmerman Trail in Cayce, post-race awards and snacks, and cheerleaders along the way! A quiet, scenic, flat and fast course, Timmerman Trail is sure to help you gain your PR while also viewing some of whimsical carved art along the way!

  • Dog and stroller friendly; however, we ask that you start at the back of the pack as there is a tight turn at the entrance.

  • Race management provided by Strictly Running.

  • Packet pickup will be held at Strictly Running and registration closes on 9/25/20 at 5pm.

  • Awards (and medals!) will be announced at 10:30am. There will also be medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for best superhero costumes!

Every single dollar raised benefits our Unaccompanied Youth Program where more than 60 youth experiencing homelessness take refuge in a safe place to live and thrive while receiving support services.

We can’t wait to see you there - in your cape, of course! REGISTER HERE
