Palmetto Place has always been a home for children and youth in foster care who have faced copious amounts of trauma including abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Our emergency group home provides housing for up to 20 children ages birth to 21. Referrals must come from the SC Department of Social Services. Our residents receive wraparound case management that promotes healing and well-being. Residents receive medical care, mental health, groups that focus on self-esteem and coping skills, independent living skills, and recreational activities.
