Scattered Site Units

Transitional living program: Tier Two

Palmetto Place has Scattered Site Units around Columbia, SC in which we provide housing to youth ages 18-24 who are at the last step before complete independence (their own lease, military, etc.). Youth who reside in one of our Scattered Site Units work and/or attend college at least 35 hours/week and need limited support. They are also required to pay a subsidized, tiered rental fee.

Eligible youth are provided:

Fully Furnished housing (residents will have a roommate in a 2 bedroom unit)
Independent Living Skills
Comprehensive medical and mental health care
Limited transportation to/from interviews and appointments
Support from our Community Programs Coordinator
